One of the oldest in online safety education.

Cyberbully.orgCyberbullying is sending or posting harmful or cruel text or images using the Internet or other digital communication devices. This site provides parent handouts, links to articles, and other related information on cyberbullying.
CyberSmartComprehensive curriculum designed for teachers and parents is presented in an easy to use format. The content covers appropriate use of the Internet, property rights, ethics, and Website evaluation.
Parent's Guide to Internet SafetyPublished by the FBI
GetNetWiseGetNetWise is a public service brought to you by Internet industry corporations and public interest organizations to help ensure that families have safe, constructive, and educational or entertaining online experiences. The GetNetWise coalition wants Internet users to be just "one click away" from the resources they need to make informed decisions about their family's use of the Internet. GetNetWise is a project of the Internet Education Foundation. In addition to the standard safety guide and parental tools, a much needed guide to how and where to report any trouble encountered on the Internet.

NOTE: The best effectiveness against Spyware is to use two or three different anti-spyware applications and to stop using Internet Explorer, which is the most attacked piece of software in the Windows operating system. Instead, download and install the better browser Firefox.

Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware (for PC users)- This application was first produced by Giant Software which was bought by Microsoft. It offers the best protection against Spyware as rated by www.SpywareWarrior.com.

Spybot - Search & Destroy (for PC users)- Application to scan for spyware, adware, hijackers and other malicious software.

Ad-Aware (for PC users) - Application to scan for spyware, adware, hijackers and other malicious software.

Privoxy - Privoxy is a web proxy with advanced filtering capabilities for protecting privacy, modifying web page content, managing cookies, controlling access, and removing ads, banners, pop-ups and other obnoxious Internet junk. Supports Macs and PCs.

Razzul - While we do not recommend that children under the age of six spend time on the internet, we understand that some parents may choose to spend time with their children online. One resource for WindowsXP users only that will limit a young child's online experience to a child-safe area is Razzul. KidInnovation.com describes Razzul as the safe online computing environment for kids. Innovative playscape with complete parental control and online entertainment for your kids.
