Third Grade
Doodle 4 Google
In 2009, our third grade students participated in the Doodle 4 Google competition. Here are a few of our entries:
Rock Our World
Third grade students have had the opportunity to participate in a global project called Rock Our World . Below are a few artifacts of our work.
Round 12: Walk Our World
Our International Song: Created by International Team A
Village School students created the original drum track, then international members of Team A added tracks each week. Our students completed the song by adding vocals during the final week.
Our Rock Our World/Walk Our World shoe design
And, to advertise our “Perfect Shoe for Life,” we created this commercial:
The Rock Our World 12 Family Night broadcast
Village School is featured about 1:25 into the recording. New Zealand students sang a traditional song about 1:15 into the recording. And, finally, a great dance routine by some other New Zealand students at 1:34! A HUGE thank you to Lucas and Ben. They did an awesome job answering questions!
