Village is a vibrant and thriving learning community where teachers work in close partnership with parents to raise children who actively and thoughtfully engage in our dynamic world.

Together, we cultivate a spirit of persistence, curiosity, and academic excellence. Our curriculum goes beyond reading, writing, and mathematics to inspire critical thinking, creative expression, and unhurried reflection.

At Village, we see our students as habitual investigators of the world, tenacious problem solvers, and resilient, empathetic thinkers. We provide a balanced educational program for body, mind, heart, and soul, incorporating the arts, athletics, and an intentional stewardship of our community, the city of Los Angeles, and the greater world around us.

The 2024–25 school year demonstrated how deeply our curriculum and values prepare students for both learning and life. Faced with an unprecedented year of transition and change, our students drew strength from the very qualities that define Village. Our combination of academic rigor and social-emotional learning not only steadied them, it helped them soar. They thrived, demonstrating leadership, compassion, and confidence in all they pursued.

We want our children to love learning, and they do. They are engaged, active, and joyful participants in a warm, supportive environment. As we continue to innovate and grow alongside our families, we embrace our diversity and remain committed to upholding the values that make Village extraordinary.

Looking ahead to the future, we are inspired, and we are deeply optimistic. Our steadfast commitment to one another, to our community, and to our children will guide us forward, paving the way for an even brighter chapter as we return to our home in the Palisades.
