Service Learning
Making An Impact
Our mission is to inspire and empower our students to become compassionate, engaged citizens by actively participating in meaningful service projects aligned with the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Through hands-on learning and collaborative teamwork, we aim to foster a sense of responsibility, empathy, and leadership in young minds, making a positive impact while cultivating a lifelong commitment to service and community involvement.
Students are invited to take part in service opportunities both at school alongside their classmates and at home with their families. By encouraging participation in a variety of settings, we aim to strengthen the connection between school, home, and the broader community—reinforcing the idea that meaningful change begins with small, everyday actions.

Upper Division students celebrate collecting over 180 cereal boxes in support of the LA Regional Food Bank (United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger) by setting them in motion with a domino train.

As part of our February Month of Service, students across all grade levels, alongside parent volunteers and teachers, decorate duffel bag panels for children served by Foster Love. This work connects to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities and SDG 1: No Poverty. Village families generously donate the duffel bags, helping transform this project into a meaningful, hands-on service experience for our students.
