Monday Morning Meetings bring the Village School community together each week to share announcements, celebrate accomplishments, and highlight events that reflect the school’s values and traditions.

One beloved tradition is the Senior Assembly, a program that honors sixth graders as they begin their final year at Village. During this special ceremony, the Class of 2026 was recognized by Mr. Evans and received their Class of 2026 hoodies, a milestone marking their leadership role in the community.

The celebration featured musical performances of “We Go Together” from Grease and Buddy Holly’s “Everyday,” performed alongside their kindergarten buddies. Sixth graders also shared personal goals for their final year:

“My goal is to be the best role model I can be this year.” – Conner N.
“I want to give back as much to Village as Village has to me.” – Leo R.
“During my last year at Village, I hope to set a good example for my kindergarten buddy, Levi.” – Mila S.
“My goal for this year is knowing that there is no such thing as perfect, and accepting good enough has to be good enough.” – Grace S.
“My goal for this last year of Village is to lead with integrity.” – Dylan S.

Student Council representatives helped lead the ceremony, embodying the spirit of student leadership that defines the Village experience.

Joy filled the air on the first day of school at Village! We are thrilled to welcome back our students for another year of learning. This year’s theme, Building Balance: Ready, Steady, Go, will guide us as our community brings it to life throughout the days ahead.

Village hosts TK & Kinder Camp every summer, and this year is no exception, complete with joy, wonder, and a beloved Village tradition: the bounce house!
